Coconut Creek, FL, United States, 2005/12/16 - Looking to spice up the palates of hungry patrons with a love for great tasting, cooked-to-order chicken wings, Wingstop Restaurants, Inc. opened its first location in Coconut Creek, Fla. on Nov. 16..
CLS Enterprise, LLC., opened the new location at 4570 Lyons Road, Suite 104 in the Banyan Square Plaza (corner of Lyons and Wiles behind CVS Pharmacy).
The new Coconut Creek location is also serving Wingstop’s new 100 percent, all-white meat chicken breast boneless wings. Wingstop selected the new wings, which feature a proprietary batter and breading recipe along with marinated breast meat, after extensive research into the consumer market for chicken products. The boneless wings are available in any of Wingstop’s nine proprietary wing flavors or unsauced with your choice of dipping sauces.
“I first tried Wingstop while inquiring about another franchise while in Louisiana,” said Charles Scott. “The freshly-prepared wings were exceptional and the atomic physically made me sweat. I ate there several more times on my visit and knew that I needed to bring Wingstop to South Florida. We’ve received a great response so far and my wife and I plan on opening four or five more Wingstops in this area.”
The new Wingstop is open from 11 a.m. to midnight seven days a week. Our wings are always prepared fresh and take 14 minutes to prepare. Call in orders are recommended, please call (954) 935-9464.
Wingstop offers restaurants with a nostalgic, aviation-themed atmosphere where the sole focus is on chicken wings. The chain features nine proprietary wing flavors, including Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic, Mild, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian, Garlic Parmesan, and our brand new Hickory Smoked BBQ. The wings are always made-to-order and served steaming hot. Customers also choose from homemade side dishes: fresh-cut seasoned fries, bourbon baked beans, pearl potato salad, creamy cole slaw, vegetable sticks, rolls and assorted dipping sauces.
Wingstop has more than 400 restaurants either open or under development in 26 states and consistently tops industry growth rankings. Wingstop was chosen Festival Favorite Restaurant at the 2005 National Buffalo Wing Festival and their Cajun sauce took first place honors for the Best Creative Spicy Sauce in the festival’s blind taste test. In July 2005, Wingstop ranked number 13 in Restaurant Business’ Top 50 Growth Chains (ranked by percentage increase in units) and was ranked the number one chicken wing chain by Entrepreneur magazine in 2004. Troy Aikman, former Dallas Cowboy and three-time Super Bowl champion, signed on as the chain’s national spokesman in 2003.
