Telargo provides public transit passengers real-time Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), which is calculated from various parameters such as current vehicle position, statistical history of trips and average speed on a particular route. Passengers can access this information through on-board and on-stops displays, (mobile) Internet or over a mobile phone’s short messaging service.
With the upgraded system, disabled, elderly and parents with strollers or small children can additionally access information about the arrival times of low floor buses that are easier to board. Public transit operators can customize the solution based on unique needs and requirements. The low floor type bus can, for example, be represented with a letter or a graphic icon.
