In the project which focuses on the discovery and validation of new protein drug targets, proteins extracted from lung and endocrine carcinoma FFPE tissue collections are analyzed using state-of-the-art MS-based proteomic methodologies. Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples have been extensively collected and annotated in hospitals around the globe representing an invaluable resource to study the progression of diseases in detail.
