Washington, DC, United States, 11/07/2007 - Coeus welcomes Ms. Gautier, one of the most talented and experienced French immersion educators in the Washington metropolitan area. Ms. Gautier is credited with establishing and developing several French immersion programs in the DC area.

Ms. Gautier joins Coeus International School (CIS) as a veteran teacher, faculty leader and mentor. She will teach and provide leadership for the development and expansion of Coeus' PK-12 French immersion program. Prior to joining the Coeus faculty, Ms. Gautier served as the French immersion teacher and Department Chair at Rock Creek International School, which Dr. Hollinger founded and directed for 17 years. Previously, she served on the faculty of Washington International School.
Born in France, Ms. Gautier holds a BA from Université Paris and a MA from the University of Maryland. During her 45 years of teaching, Ms. Gautier has educated countless students and earned a reputation as one of the best French teachers in the Washington area.
CIS offers a dual-language, international education in English and the choice of Arabic, French, Greek, Mandarin or Spanish for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. The school's curriculum, based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organisation's Primary, Middle and Diploma Years Programmes, is inquiry-based and transdisciplinary. An IB Candidate School, CIS also offers innovative programs such as Olympism-based athletics, a Professionals-in-Residence Program, Hellenic programs, peace studies and international study tours.
