To find out if Stone is available for your station, call Hoss at Atlas Talent in NYC at 212-730-4500. Steve Stone is an artist in every sense of the word. As a voice actor, his ability to uniquely interpret the written word was evident at a very young age.
Being the product of a television as a babysitter, Steve began mimicking all the voices he heard on his favorite shows. Early vocal heros were Danny Dark, Ernie Anderson, Mel Blanc, Don Messick, Casey Kasem, Rich Little, Billy Crystal, Jonathan Winters and Harry Shearer. After spending his early years seriously wanting to be a comic book illustrator, Steve jumped into the world of broadcasting.
Over the next several years, Steve honed his voiceover and production skills working at some of the top radio stations in the United States. Moves were made from California to Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and finally New York to be the Creative Services Director for the legendary 92.3 K-Rock. Picking up awards and accolades along the way.
At the end of 2002, after three years of writing, voicing and producing all of the stations award winning imaging, Steve left New York to start his own voiceover and audio production company. Today Steve Stone is one of the fresh in demand talents in the voiceover world. Steve also spends his time consulting many broadcast companies on identity branding, and coaches individuals one on one on talent development. A talented drummer and studio sound engineer, when he is not recording his voice, he records, produces and performs original music.
