PetTravelCenter.com, an Internet company and online community that provides worldwide pet travel resources, announced today that it will offer free shipping on everything in its online pet store, Pet Travel Products, through December 31, 2007.
"We wanted to do something special for our loyal customers and visitors to help celebrate our first year of operation," said Tom James, president of the company. "We owe our current success to the thousands of pet lovers all over the world who have visited PetTravelCenter.com to get resources for traveling with their pets and participate in our online community," James said.
Visitors to the site can search for pet-friendly hotels, attractions, destinations, RV parks, dog parks and campgrounds, and get information about airline pet regulations, pet travel tips, veterinarians, emergency pet hospitals, and purchase a wide variety of pet travel products through its online pet store. Other features include Ask the Vet, where questions can be submitted to a veterinarian and answered on the site; a Community Calendar to list community pet-related events; a Pet Photo Gallery, where images of pets can be uploaded; and articles that address pet safety and traveling with pets.
The company is also in the middle of its First Annual PTC Pet Photo Contest that runs through November 30. Cash and other prizes will be awarded to the winners, as well as a "best of show" grand prize that will be announced later. The contest is seeking great shots of dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles and pet travel-related photos.
