NewswireToday - /newswire/ - New York, NY, United States, 10/11/2007 - The China Banking Association (CBA), the largest banking association in the world, has partnered with Edcomm’s Banker's Academy, to provide banking seminars for Chinese bankers in The United States.

The first sessions, to be delivered this November 19-21, will include representatives from prestigious Chinese banks, such as Gui Yang City Commercial Bank; Bank of China; Zun Yi City Commercial Bank; Gui Zhou Rural Commercial Bank; Bankers Association of GuiZhou Province; Great Wall Asset Management corporation; Zhen Hua Group Finance Corporation; Rural Commercial Bank of Anshun; Hua Rong Asset Management Corporation; China Construction Bank; Rural Commercial Bank of Liu Panshui; and China Agriculture Development Bank.

Banking in China has dramatically changed over the past few years, and even more changes are on the way. With these changes come a need for more retail products and services and wealth management offerings. In order to meet the demand for these products and services, it is imperative that bankers in China have an understanding of market segmentation and risk management. Edcomm's Banker's Academy is pleased to have the opportunity to give the delegates from China insight into these areas.

Dr. Linda Eagle, President of Edcomm's Banker's Academy said, “I could not be more pleased and proud to work with the China Bankers Association. I am excited to meet the delegates and to provide them with training that will help the future of banking in their nation.”

The China Banking Association (CBA) was founded in May 2000 as a social organization approved by the People’s Bank of China and the Ministry of Civil Affairs and is registered at the Ministry of Civil Affairs. One of CBA’s major roles is to develop training programs and the certification of such programs to improve the overall professional competence and standards of employees of China’s banking industry.
