HandHeld Entertainment™, a global digital entertainment company, today announced that it has selected DoubleClick Inc., the premier provider of digital marketing technology and services, to enable effective rich media campaigns for companies advertising on HandHeld’s ZVUE Networks™.
ZVUE Networks, HandHeld’s online video advertising network, will reach more than 24 million unique visitors per month across its wholly-owned network of Websites after the close of its acquisition of eBaum’s World, which is expected to close in October. The DoubleClick ad management platform, DART for Publishers (DFP), provides advertisers with enhanced ad-serving technologies. The platform also facilitates the development and execution of complex ad campaigns and promotions by providing advertisers on ZVUE Networks with faster, deeper and more centralized reports about their campaigns.
“HandHeld is committed to offering advertisers the most effective and interactive advertising solutions available online,” said Jeff Oscodar, president and CEO of HandHeld Entertainment. “As such, DoubleClick is a key component in our ZVUE Networks strategy. In fact, DoubleClick’s DART ad-serving platform, which has become an industry leader for online ad-serving, is used by leading ad agencies in the United States. By partnering with DoubleClick, ZVUE Networks is instantly connected to an impressive portfolio of ad agencies. We believe that this DoubleClick relationship will result in an increase in revenue throughout our ZVUE Networks.”
DoubleClick enables HandHeld to deliver advanced advertising solutions across ZVUE Networks that are strategically and dynamically optimized to serve specific audiences. Additionally, HandHeld and its advertisers will have real-time knowledge of ad inventory availability and stronger targeting capabilities across ZVUE Networks.
“We are proud to provide a great platform for publishers and marketers to work together successfully, so publishers can grow ad revenues and marketers can achieve great advertising ROI,” said Jonathan Bellack, Vice-President of Product Management for DART for Publishers. “We look forward to working closely with HandHeld to enable the execution of successful online campaigns across ZVUE Networks.”
