AXIGEN, the professional messaging solutions vendor, and TOPEX, Romanian manufacturer of telecommunication equipment, announced today the launch of an integrated communication solution, TOPEX-AXIGEN E-voice Center.
The newly launched solution comes as a result of a strategic partnership recently closed by the two companies. The main objective of this technological collaboration is to provide the international market with new integrated communication solutions for companies operating in all economical fields, as well as for ISPs.
TOPEX-AXIGEN E-Voice Center is an IP telephone switch and a mail server at the same time, covering voice and messaging traffic through the effective usage of the same IT infrastructure and hardware resources.
Apart from voice and email traffic management features, TOPEX-AXIGEN E-Voice Center offers additional services, such as Fax2Email, SMS notifications and missed calls notifications. The Fax2Email feature allows incoming faxes to be forwarded to a specific email address or to a group email address within the company. The SMS notification service enables the automatic sending of text message notifications to users who receive new emails in their inbox. Missed calls are also effectively handled by notifying users via email whenever they are unable to take a phone call or when receiving voice mail messages.
"For all companies, these features can be translated into money. The centralized management of messages and calls and the extensive usage of existing resources lead to an effective communication flow, thus entailing decreased expenses and increased productivity," explained Mihai Anghel, AXIGEN Sales Manager.
Companies employing this solution will consequently notice lower costs, as they no longer need to use multiple equipments managed in competing administrative environments to meet current voice and email communication requirements.
TOPEX-AXIGEN E-Voice Center acquisition costs depend on the type of features and terminals chosen to handle communication needs of existing telephony and email users. The solution’s hardware components come with a 2 year warranty, while the technical support and software maintenance are offered for a yearly subscription fee.
"Based on market feedback, we will continue to further develop TOPEX-AXIGEN E-Voice Center so as to soon reach the Unified Messaging concept. Given our close collaboration and our detailed knowledge of the markets we are targeting, we are confident the solutions launched under this partnership will be highly successful," said Radu Balaci, TOPEX Business Development Manager.
TOPEX-AXIGEN E-Voice Center is currently available worldwide. Future development focuses on providing new features such as Email2Fax, Email2SMS and video and instant messaging communication streams integration.
