Long Floor, a leading distributor of pre-finished and unfinished hardwood flooring, equipment, and sundry products, has announced the recent promotions of Danny Yarbrough from Inside Sales to Outside Sales, and Nicole Hudson from Administrative Assistant to Inside Sales.
Yarbrough has been with Long Floor for over two years and will be primarily focused on business development. He will be working with a targeted group of existing customers and prospects in order to grow corporate sales, as well as visiting customers to discuss their needs and how Long Floor can assist them in growing their business.
“In just two years, Danny has developed a great deal as a salesperson,” says Long Floor General Manager, Tim Yarbrough. “He’s very customer service driven and has an intense desire to learn and grow professionally. This is a position where he’ll be able to use his talents to help our customers become more successful.”
Hudson has been with the company since 2006 and will be responsible for working with both the business development and customer service departments. She will handle customer orders, as well as field prospect requests. Tim Yarbrough said that it was Hudson’s “natural sales instincts” that made her an ideal choice for an Inside Sales position.
“Nicole brings a lot of energy and excitement to our sales team,” explains Yarbrough. “She has a tremendous drive to be successful and has excelled at everything she has done since joining us. She’s a great addition to our sales team and we’re pleased to be able to offer her this opportunity.”
