The Global Supply Chain Council, with its affiliate, the China Supply Chain Council, China's leading supply chain professional organization, today announced that Matthias Gramolla, VP Sourcing Strategy for EADS, will present a key session at 3rd Annual CHaINA Summit '07, taking place on Nov. 7-8 in Shanghai, China.
Gramolla will speak on “Added Value of Global Sourcing in the Aerospace Industry – Strategy and Implementation in China", sharing insights on how Global Sourcing in the Aerospace Industry goes well beyond Low Cost Country Sourcing.
In this unique session, Gramolla will highlight the Global Sourcing Strategy of the European leader in the Aerospace Industry and explain how the combination of various objectives drives decisions and actions. This presentation will also focuses on the specificities of the Aerospace industry; findings will of course focus on China.
Matthias Gramolla is in charge of development and implementation of a consistent and comprehensive Sourcing Strategy across EADS. His current focus is on Supplier Relationship Management, Global Sourcing and Procurement Performance Management. Matthias has 20 years of experience in the Aerospace industry.
In addition, Karen Butner, Supply Chain expert and leading member of the IBM Institute for Business Value, and Jane Barrett, research director and analyst with AMR Research’s Value Chain Strategies Service, will join other senior executives in a special track on "Global Sourcing" at CHaINA '07.
Combining conferences, trainings, workshops, exhibition floor and an awards gala dinner, the CHaINA Summit, China's largest and most comprehensive supply chain event, will take place on Nov. 7-8, 2007 at the Regent Hotel in Shanghai.
