HunterStone has been invited to participate in the Workforce Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Co-Laboratory eLearning Summit in Memphis, Tennessee on October 30-31, 2007. The Workforce ADL Co-Lab, located at the FedEx Institute of Technology on the campus of the University of Memphis, is the catalyst of ADL implementation in industry, serving as a facilitator of the development and integration of ADL technologies in industry to enhance the learning and training of the workforce of the future. The Workforce ADL Co-Lab is the mechanism that promotes adoption of ADL technologies industry through education, technical training and accessibility to solutions that will contribute to the creation of the advanced digital knowledge environment in workforce settings.

This year's eLearning Summit will involve participants and expert panelists in a conversation about "SCORM Tools: What We Have, and What We'll Need." Dr. Xiangen Hu, Co-Director of the Workforce ADL Co-Lab stated that HunterStone Vice President Tom Winterstein will serve as a panelist during the two day event.

Winterstein has 20 years experience in the technology products and services industries. He joined HunterStone as Vice President in early 2006 to lead the company's worldwide business development and global rollout for THESIS – the company's flagship SCORM eLearning product suite. Previously, Tom was on the senior management teams of a software development and IT services company, an e-Learning content provider, and a systems integration firm. Tom has been a speaker on eLearning and SCORM related topics throughout the U.S. at various national, regional, and state conferences and most recently presented “Getting Started with eLearning Standards and SCORM” for the eLearning Guild’s September 2007 Online Forum.
