IDology, Inc., a leading provider of electronic identity and age proofing solutions, today announced that its technology will be used within Symantec’s Identity Service during the 2007 Digital ID World Conference at booth #207 to demonstrate the practical application of a developing identity framework and what is possible with validated, portable identities.

Incorporating IDology’s identity and age verification technology into the Identity Service demo shows the easy and quick way of how Identity Providers establish trusted identities online, which involves presenting knowledge-based multiple-choice questions to verify someone is who they claim to be against certain id credentials such as name and address. After a trusted identity has been established, the practical application for using Cardspace and Open ID technology to interact with one of IDology’s wine merchant clients will be demonstrated.
