Le Méridien Amman was chosen as this year's host for the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Annual Regional Budget Presentations for 2008, taking place from September 9th until the 15th, with participation from 31 Starwood Hotels, out of a total of 53 in the Middle East region including Le Méridien, Sheraton, Westin, Four Points and W Hotels.
Gerhard Mansbart, General Manager of Le Méridien Amman, said, "We are extremely honored to be hosting the annual Middle East Budget Presentations for Starwood, demonstrating the growing importance of Amman not just as a tourist destination, but also as a place to do business.”
Starwood’s Regional team, under the leadership of Vice President Guido de Wilde, are also taking the opportunity to visit Aqaba, where Starwood has signed two projects, namely one West Inn and one Luxury Collection.

Le Méridien Amman, located in the center of Shmeisani, was established in 1987 and remodeled in 2003. In November 2005, the Le Méridien brand was acquired by Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
