That was the humble beginnings of TekTegrity. Now, just over a year later, TekTegrity has 20 employees and a continuing trend of hiring, on average, one new employee every month, and is expanding their office for the third time.

TekTegrity has worked to foster an environment for entrepreneurialism by keeping small business owners connected and focused on growing their business instead of having to deal with computer glitches and productivity issues brought on by poorly maintained equipment.
TekTegrity’s growth stems from a focus on networking and building solid relationships with other companies. TekTegrity has worked hard to build a close relationship with companies in complimentary industries such as telephone and internet service providers. TekTegrity is also very involved in various professional organizations.
From their first offerings of general project and consulting work for small businesses and a focus on school districts, TekTegrity has dramatically increased it’s service offerings. Besides Total Systems Management, TekTegrity provides professional consulting services, hourly support agreements, a comprehensive backup solution called Priority Backup, and TekTraining, a new approach to technology training.
Russ Levanway and Jeremy Koellish, the founders of TekTegrity, have been in business together since April 2006. Rapid growth has required TekTegrity to expand into multiple suites in the building it occupies on Los Osos Valley Road in San Luis Obispo. TekTegrity has also recently purchased an office suite in Bakersfield. Currently, their client base reaches from Southern Monterey County to Northern Santa Barbara County and east into Bakersfield.
CEO Russ Levanway was honored by The Tribune as one of its Top 20 Under 40 in January 2007. The award recognizes young professionals who have demonstrated both professional excellence and a profound commitment to the community in San Luis Obispo County.
Even while growing quickly, TekTegrity has made time to be active in the community. Koellish and Levanway work with school administrators to coordinate computer donations from businesses and local colleges. They reconfigure the donated computers, set them up to match the schools software, and install the computers in the classroom.
