Buffalo, NY, United States, 08/21/2007 - Time Warner Cable announces 5 new channels will be added to its lowest level of digital cable. ESPN Classic, ESPN News, Fox Soccer and Fox Reality will be moved from the Variety, Movies and Sports Tiers.

Time Warner Cable, the nation’s second-largest cable television operator, today announced the addition of five additional channels to the lowest level of digital cable. Moving from the Variety, Movies and Sports Tiers are Fox Soccer, Fox Reality, ESPN Classic, and ESPN News. They remain on the same channel numbers. New to the line-up is the much anticipated ESPNU. ESPNU will be found on channel 137 in Western New York and channel 139 in Olean and Wellsville starting on August 30.

ESPNU will showcase more than 70 live exclusive games beginning with the Orange Bowl champion Louisville home opener against Murray State Thursday, August 30 at 7:30 pm. ET. The network’s third college football season will include such notable programs as Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Miami (FL), Iowa, Purdue, Central Michigan, Army, Navy, Alabama, A&M, Hampton, Illinois, Northwestern, Syracuse and more. In 2006, the network aired 67 exclusive college football games featuring 20 top 25 ranked teams.
