Andrews has a long association with the company having founded WebAbacus, the web analytics firm that merged with The Usability Company in early 2005 to form Foviance. He was responsible for the original architecture which included a number of industry firsts.
Andrews has held an advisory role at Foviance since the merger, and he now returns to lead the development of WebAbacus, the industry’s next generation Web 2.0 compatible web analytics tool.
In his new role, Andrews will focus on evolving the WebAbacus architecture to ensure it is completely scalable with all digital and off-line marketing channels, while keeping pace with the rapidly evolving social media landscape.
Andrews is a serial entrepreneur with a string of successful businesses to his name, including Blue Sky and Re-Cog and is a non-executive director of NetB2B2 Plc. His passion is designing and building original internet solutions, working with web 2.0 technologies such as Ajax and XML. Most recently, he has been involved in the development of applications using Ruby on Rails, an open source web application framework written in the Ruby programming language.
