Intense Animation Studio today announced the official launch of its creative animation services to provide clients with high-quality 3D animation. Intense Animation Studio has been actively building its portfolio and enhancing its team with the production of two original properties over the past 18 months: '11' and 'The Travels of Wiglington and Wenks'.
'11' is an animated comedy about the resurrection of a dysfunctional football team, Billingham F.C. The production featured celebrity voiceovers by Sheikh Haikel and Deanna Yusoff. 14 original CG characters were created for the pilot - a testimony to the character development strength of the Intense team. The pilot was developed in collaboration with M2B World and was part-funded by the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA).
'The Travels of Wiglington and Wenks' is based on the popular children's books of the same name. Intense have created a distribution trailer to be showcased at MIPCOM, the world's audiovisual content tradeshow to be held in Cannes, France in October 2007. "W&W represented another great challenge for our team." Said Tony, "We created 10 characters, which is a lot for a trailer - and then created the additional assets including many overseas locations like Venice, Rome, Istanbul and the British Museum. The work included lots of water simulation and visual effects."
Intense Animation Studio will be led Tony Sealy, a 20-year professional in broadcast, post production and animation. Tony's work has won him several awards throughout the region including Promax Gold for Best Promotional Campaign (2000). Intense has recruited widely both from within the Region and also from Canada, Indonesia and Ireland to find the right mix of creative and technical talent.
