The CHaINA Awards honor end-user companies, mostly manufacturers and retailers, whose deployments of specific supply chain programs, initiatives or systems have achieved positive bottom-line financial and business results in China.
The CHaINA Awards will take place during the most comprehensive event for supply chain professionals in China, CHaINA ’07 is produced by the Global China Supply Chain Council, Asia’s leading professional organization. The summit includes multiple concurrent conferences, trainings and workshops, a mini trade show and the special diner gala ceremony for the CHaINA Awards.
Established for three years already, these Awards have been established to recognize innovative and successful projects in China. Unlike other awards, where typically vendors give each other prizes AND sponsors in each category will win nearly each time, the CHaINA Awards are absolutely 100% sponsor-free. As a neutral and independent organization, the Global Supply Chain Council ensures that nominations are made in a totally commercial-free and objective environment.
Past winners include Singer, Accenture China, Sinotrans, Oracle China, Ikea Distribution in 2005 and Electrolux, BenQ, Keppel Logistics, Manhattan Associates in 2006.
Awards will be presented in the following categories:
- Supply Chain Operational Excellence in China
- China's Supply Chain Executive of the Year
- Best 3PL (Third Party Logistics) Supply Chain Provider
- Best Supply Chain Consulting Partner in China
- Best IT Supply Chain Solution for China
- Training Education and Development Award for China
- The Green Supply Chain Award in China
Finalists in the CHaINA Awards will be chosen through online submissions and reviewed by the board of directors of the China Supply Chain Council. Criteria for selecting winners will be the magnitude, importance and clarity of the benefit to your China operations arising from the project or activity submitted.
If you or your organization would like to be considered for the awards, or if you would like to nominate your clients for the awards, contact the Council today at info[.]supplychain.cn.
The deadline for submissions is October 15, 2007. Winners will be honored during a special awards gala dinner hosted by the Global Supply Chain Council during China’s largest supply chain event, the CHaINA Summit, on November 8 in Shanghai, China. It is expected to be China’s most influential and biggest supply chain party of the year.
