Gallatin, TN, United States, 2007/07/18 - Jay Deragon, founder of Link to Nashville and networking strategist, decided last week to take a less active role in the administrating of the business-to-business networking platform and named Mark Kerrigan of On the Mark Writing as successor.
Networking strategist, Jay Deragon named Mark Kerrigan as administrator for Link to Nashville, Middle-Tennessee’s first business-to-business networking platform.
Kerrigan, owner of On the Mark Writing, will assume the responsibilities of day-to-day operations of the site and will lead the platform’s growth and participation with middle Tennessee's businesses and individuals.
“With the explosion of online networking [platforms],” Deragon told Kerrigan, “you can either ride the [technology] wave or be swallowed by it. Link to Nashville has the opportunity to become part of a much larger network of relationship networking initiatives and your position to lead a major opportunity for the Nashville Communities,” Deragon said.
Kerrigan brings to Link to Nashville an attention to detail and an understanding of the new marketplace of networking, branding, connecting, and collaborating through the internet.
He will be responsible for the growth of Link to Nashville. Kerrigan plans not only to urge individuals to join but will target specific industries such as realtors and the military as well as others.
Jay Deragon has been helping numerous other social networking initiatives such as Link to New York, Link to Chicago, Link to Charlotte, Link to Entrepreneurs, Link to Politics and several others. Recently he has started "Link to Your World", an association of leading networking experts aimed at providing expanded resources and expertise to those wishing to enter or accelerate their presence in the emerging space.
Many major brands such as IBM, NBC, Google™ and a host of others have accelerated their efforts to gain traction in the merging social networking space. Web 2.0 technologies have created a new medium and a new economy, which organizations will learn how to maximize its value for individual benefit.
