The founder of EOTVHD has worked for John Malone of TCI, RCA/BMG, MCA Universal and is inspired in business by Jules Stein, Lew Wasserman, John Malone, Bob Johnson and Berry Gordy Jr. The technology more than exceeds that of YouTube, MySpace and HDNet who are all powered by Microsoft. EOTVHD is the only HD, piracy protected content provider that allows up to 22 feet expansion on movie screens without latency or pixel issues.
The first of the fall season shows include "Lunch at Ben's" filmed at the famous "Ben's Chili Bowl" a favorite hang out of Bill Cosby, Chris Tucker, Dr. Dre The Late Martin Luther King and Senator Hillary Clinton. The other crown jewel of the fall line up is "Teen Chef" a teenage cooking show sponsored by Superbowl legend and former Pittsburg Steeler Franco Harris. Harris owns the Super Foods company that sponsors the show. EOTV will announce a film festival and movie award show in 2008.
EO Television (aka) EOTVHD signed a four year agreement for over 720 units of content to include film and television. This is in addition to a two year deal with Messenger Films for four feature films, three years of content with ABC News and National Geographic journalist David Snider, one year with the TV magazine called "EO/Moxy" and a three year agreement with Alvin Jones the creator of BET's Rap City and Midnight Love for a television asset called "Planet Jazz". "Planet Jazz" is reminiscent of the BET signature style.
Henson say's "News Corp, Viacom,GE, Time Warrner, Disney and Sony own 95% of all content in the U.S., in just three months, EO Television is definately headed toward owning the remaining 5%" unless they are purchased by the one of the six media giants as Youtube and Myspace were after only two years in business. One difference between EOTVHD and the other companies is that EO Entertainment is not powered by Microsoft as with the others. They are self contained.
