Zenful Dance, a form of dance meditation (method founded by Leah Joy Malberg, Founder of Danceaway Retreats) is the practice of being truly mindful and present through dance movement. Zenful Dance combines sequences of breath work, yoga, sitting/walking meditation, and sound meditation with movements from Eastern Europe, Northern Africa, and Southeast Asia. The Metronome Dance Center, a school known for supporting both innovative and traditional dance classes, will be hosting the San Francisco workshop on Saturday, August 11th, 2007 from 10:00am. – 4:30pm. Admission is $95.00 in advance and $115.00 at the door. Space is limited.

These workshops are for anyone who holds an interest in taking a mini-mental vacation while learning a graceful, rhythmical approach to meditation.You don't even have to be a dancer or know any yoga to get something magical out of the experience. Additional Northern California workshops will be held Tuesday, August 7th at Lauthr Hair Body Skin in Petaluma, Sunday, August 12th at the Dance Spectrum in Campbell and Sunday, August 19th at the Bladium Sports Club in Alameda.
