Physicians Practice has dominated the healthcare and business publishing awards for 2007, making it the must-read publication for the medical and business industries.
Physicians Practice captured two gold awards from the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors (ASHPE) for the Best Single Issue and Best Regular, Staff-written Column, “The Bigger Picture.” The Society also granted Physicians Practice four other awards in the categories of Original Research, Best Cover Illustration, Best Case History, and Best Overall Graphics.
“The Bigger Picture” also won first place, national honors from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE), as well as regional awards in the categories of Original Research, How-to Article, Opening Spread — Illustration, and Company Profile.
The Trade, Association and Business Publications International bestowed a Silver Award on “ The Bigger Picture”, a Bronze Award for Best Regular Department on “Noteworthy”, as well as two honorable mentions — one for the June issue for Single Best Issue and one for the April feature article ”The Straight-A Patient” for Best Feature Article.
The Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ) awarded “Do Your Payers Measure Up?”, also from the June issue, second place in its trade publications category.
