Cairo Amman Bank, in collaboration with Fastlink and the Ministry of Tourism, has announced the launch of the “1 Million Votes for Petra” campaign via SMS as part of the Bank’s ongoing contribution to the nationwide efforts to have Petra designated as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Mr. Khaled Al Masri, CEO of CAB, said "We strongly support the Vote for Petra campaign and believe that the long term economic benefits for the Kingdom from attaining this prestigious title should make voting for Petra a duty for each and every Jordanian.” Mr. Masri went on to say, “Since the beginning of the year Cairo Amman Bank has incorporated the Vote for Petra slogan in all its advertisements and marketing collateral, and this latest initiative is a continuation of our efforts to encourage Jordanians to continue supporting the campaign and make Petra one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.”
His Excellency Osama Dabbas, Minister of Tourism, presented Al Masri with a trophy as recognition of the Ministry's appreciation for the substantial efforts made by Cairo Amman Bank in supporting the national economy and serving the local community. Together, Al Masri and H.E. Dabbas launched the 'Million Votes for Petra' campaign and personally sent SMS messages casting their votes.
