Long-time uranium mining expert Dr. Robert Rich told StockInterview, “I believe the impact of the new NYMEX futures market will specifically help those that are in the business to become producers.”
He discussed his involvement with Yellowcake Mining (OTC BB: YCKM) in which he has become a member of the board of directors, “What makes us different is we have a plan to be one of the survivors after the market adjusts at some point in the future.”
What does he foresee? “I think there’s going to be a huge wave of consolidation that rolls through the juniors,” he told StockInterview. “You are going to see some companies go out of business and others merge or be acquired. You are going to see a big reshuffling of properties.”
What makes his company different from those who will be washed out of the uranium bull market? “I think because of the quality of the properties that we have, and the fact that we’ll be a revenue generating company through uranium production and sales, we expect to be there in the future,” he said.
And how will he profit? “We expect to be able to pick up the stuff that other people can no longer manage,” Rich told StockInterview.
