Frances R. Pierce, President and CEO, Data Systems Analysts (DSA), a provider of global information technology solutions and security services to government and industry, announced that Ms. Katherine (Kat) Hollis has joined DSA as Senior Vice President for Strategic Planning and Business Development.
Ms. Hollis will institute and champion development strategies and business direction for all sectors of DSA. With over 20 years of experience in Private Enterprise, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Department of Defense (DoD), and Federal Programs, Ms. Hollis has significant experience in leading large Program efforts to include corporate Portfolio Development, Information Assurance, Electronic Commerce, Computer Network Defense, Identity Management and comprehensive Strategic Program Development.

Prior to joining DSA, Ms. Hollis was a Corporate Portfolio Executive Director for Electronic Data Systems (EDS). In this position she was responsible for comprehensive security portfolio strategy, direction and the development of corporate security offerings. Previously, she had served as Director of Information Assurance Services at EDS, responsible for the delivery of security architecture, secure messaging, identity management, public key infrastructure (PKI), wireless, biometrics, and smart card services to Federal and Commercial clients.
Ms. Hollis held positions with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Program Executive Office Standard Automated Management Information Systems (PEO-STAMIS) and the Department of the Army. She served as the Special Assistant to the Deputy, DoD Joint PKI Program Office and was the Deputy Director for the Office of the Secretary of Defense Y2K Program. She was Founder and Chair to the DISA Smart Card IPT. Ms. Hollis also served as Program Manager for the Defense Information Infrastructure Open Systems Store (DIIOSS) and the Electronic Commerce/Electronic Data InterChange (EC/EDI) Program.
Ms. Hollis is a Graduate of the National War College and holds an MS in National Security Strategy. She is also a graduate of the National Defense University Information Resources Management College (IRMC) Advanced Management Program and holds Level III Acquisition Certification. Ms. Hollis’ Bachelor’s degree is in Political Science from the University of Minnesota. She is a founding member of the Federation for Identity and Cross-Credentialing Systems (FiXs), a member of the Armed Forces Communication and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Technical Committee, the DoD Industry Advisory Board (IAB) and a member of the Electronic Authentication Partnership (EAP). She also participates in the International Collaborative Identity Management Forum.
