Buffalo, NY, United States, 06/12/2007 - Time Warner Cable announces new partnership with Cradle Beach Camp that will send 25 disadvantaged and disabled kids to camp as well create a new Time Warner Cable Digital Den with entertainment and high speed internet capability.

Time Warner Cable, the nation’s second-largest cable television operator, today announced at a news conference a new five year partnership worth more than $200,000 to support the work of Cradle Beach Camp, the nationally recognized organization that helps individuals with disadvantages or with special needs become productive members of society. Time Warner Cable has offered to sponsor 25 disabled or disadvantaged children so they can enjoy 10 days of summer camping programs at Cradle Beach Camp. Additionally, the creation of the Time Warner Cable Digital Den will provide a relaxing hide-away for campers with all the state-of-the art technology Time Warner provides its customers including digital cable and high-speed internet.
“Time Warner Cable is proud to support the good work of Cradle Beach Camp. Through our donation, 25 worthy children will have the chance to partake in ten days of summer fun in a wonderful setting. Since 1888, Cradle Beach located in Angola has been providing a healthy environment and organized activities to promote socialization, self-worth, and decision making for disadvantaged or special needs children between the ages of 9 and 16. Camp begins June 25th and runs for 10 day sessions through August 18th.

Cradle Beach provides education and training in a recreational setting to individuals with disadvantages or with special needs. Cradle Beach strives to be a nationally recognized organization helping individuals with disadvantages or with special needs become productive members of society. Cradle Beach Camp serves approximately 900 disabled and disadvantage children between the ages of 9 and 16 in our summer camping program. Children come to camp for 10 days of residential programming focusing on education and training in a recreational setting. There are many different activities that the children participate in that make Cradle Beach Camp so much more than an ordinary camp.
