Catalis, Inc. announced today that Robert G. Anderson, M.D. and Tony L. Schaffer, Esq. have been unanimously elected to the Catalis Board of Directors.
Dr. Anderson is a surgeon specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Selected Readings in Plastic Surgery of the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation and the American Academy of Otolaryngology Facial Paralysis Study Group. Dr. Anderson spent five years on the full-time faculty in the Department of Surgery and seventeen years as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He is a member of numerous societies including the American Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Anderson is a member of the Board of Directors of Baylor Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and the Medical Advisory Committee of Texas Health Care, PLLC. He started his medical mission work in the Fiji Islands in the South Pacific over 25 years ago and for the past eight years has made annual surgical trips to Guatemala.
Mr. Schaffer comes to Catalis from Toler Schaffer, LLP., where he is a partner. The firm specializes in intellectual property, business consultation and business litigation. He earned his Jurist Doctor in 1989 from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. Mr. Schaffer regularly gives continuing legal education seminars for the State Bar of Texas on topics including Fiduciary Duties for Directors and Officers of Financial Institutions and Financial Institution Litigation.
