Scholar360, an eLearning solutions provider, announced that American Jewish World Service selected the Scholar360 LMS™ to provide their staff and fellows with the ability to network, a secure place to disseminate academic material and share resources, as well as provide training to create future social justice leaders within their World Partners Fellowship. After a comprehensive evaluation process, AJWS selected Scholar360 because of the learner management system’s hosting solutions, affordable license fees, and excellent customer support.
“We launched the pilot World Partners Fellowship in 2004 in Bombay, India. We immediately understood from the pilot program that our fellows needed an interface to share their experiences, draw from others’ experiences, and build a community in order to do their work and develop their leadership skills most effectively.
In the second year, we asked the fellows to create a joint blog, but it lost momentum without staff involvement and it was too open to the public. We then decided to search for a software system that could provide both a private social network and an academic platform. Our program has since undergone a metamorphosis and it now has a greater emphasis on providing online learning. We look forward to implementing Scholar360 LMS to give the growing number of fellows the tools they need to become future social justice leaders.” - Lani Santos, AJWS
