Kenan Center Showcases 100 Exhibitors and Artisans
Time Warner Cable, the nation’s second-largest cable television operator, today announces its support of the 37th Annual 100 American Craftsmen festival of contemporary craft and art in Lockport, New York. The festival which begins on June 1st runs through June 3rd at the Kenan Center Arena.
“It is very exciting for Time Warner Cable to be a part of this long standing artisan fair in Niagara County that gives the community a rare opportunity to interact with artisans,” stated Gordon Harp, Buffalo Division President, Time Warner Cable. “Time Warner Cable supports the arts in the communities we serve as we feel it is proven to keep children in school, provide motivation and help children better understand the world in which they live.”
100 American Craftsmen is an annual festival held at the Kenan Arena. The juried show is Buffalo Niagara's only, and longest-running, festival dedicated to contemporary craft art and features leather, glass, metal, clay, wood, basketry, fiber, paper and mixed media. All proceeds from admissions and exhibitors fees are used to cover festival expenses and support the Kenan Center’s 25-acre campus which is the largest regional community arts, education and recreation center in Eastern Niagara, serving 43,000 plus individuals each year through more than fifty programs.
