Liverpool's hotly tipped pop princess Laura Critchley has been chosen as the face of Fly Pink, the new boutique airline designed especially for women. Laura will become the first pop star since Elton John in the 70s to have her image displayed on the side of a plane when the first flight takes off from Liverpool John Lennon Airport for Paris on 04 June.
Fly Pink is a unique concept in air travel. Specialising in luxurious travel at an affordable price, the airline will offer women the opportunity to take short shopping breaks to the world's fashion hotspots on their stylish, customized fleet of pink planes. Chartered flights to Paris will begin in August, with flights to New York and Milan commencing later in the year.
Passengers will be treated to pink champagne and free manicures in the departure lounge with complementary gourmet cuisine on board.
Fly Pink is the brainchild of its MD Adam Charles, who chose Laura to represent his brand after being mesmerized by her concert in Liverpool earlier in the year:

Adam's early faith in Laura was certainly well founded as she is now making a major impression on the music scene. Everyone from Jamie Foxx to Mika has proclaimed her as the UK's next major female pop star, she's just completed a hugely successful tour with The Sugababes and her debut single "Sometimes I" is released on 21st May.
