Rocky Mountain Vacations, with offices in Glenwood Springs, CO., Orlando, FL and Ann Arbor, MI announced today that starting September 15, 2005 all Rocky Mountain Vacations Custom Ski Packages will include comprehensive Travel Protection and Insurance.
This program, developed and administered by Travel Insured International of Hartford, CT., is designed with ski travel in mind. The policy covers Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Loss or Delay of Baggage, Medical Expenses and a host of other benefits, including a 24 hour Emergency Hot Line.
Rocky Mountain Vacations President David Tanner commented that,,“We are seeing more and more of our clients interested in Travel Protection. Concerns regarding aging parents or other causes of cancellation - along with the growing problem of lost luggage are common themes we hear every day. We knew it was time to act, to include coverage with all our trips. We are very pleased with our partner, Travel Insured International for their efforts in providing a high quality product at a reasonable cost to the consumer”.
Sales Manager Bob Stepniewski notes that while RMV guests can opt out of the Travel Protection / Insurance if they choose to remain unprotected, “All RMV travelers are urged to retain this coverage as the only means of protecting their vacation investment and safeguarding their family while on vacations. The value and the need are both there.”
