Hong Kong, China, 10/04/2005 - Global Sources announced it expanded Global Sources Direct to provide two online sales channels. Global Sources Direct, announced in June, enables buyers to purchase small lots of consumer products online direct from China at wholesale prices.

The first channel is part of Global Sources’ strategic alliance with eBay, which allows eBay PowerSellers around the world to buy direct from China suppliers through auctions listed under the eBay user ID GlobalSourcesDirect.
Global Sources Vice President Peter Zapf said: “Global Sources Direct is helping a whole new group of buyers to buy direct from China by simplifying the direct importing experience. We’re also opening new sales opportunities for China manufacturers by assisting them to sell to lower volume buyers more profitably.”
