Devon Wijesinghe, Chief Strategy Officer of Atlanta-based risk assessment company, e-VERIFILE.COM Inc., has joined the Security Risk Assessment Work group of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA). In addition to joining the workgroup, Wijesinghe will also chair the group’s efforts on issues surrounding background screening and ID credentialing of transportation personnel.
The Security Risk Assessment Work group is made up of transit security and related risk assessment professionals from around the country. The group works to develop standards in critical risk assessment areas that can be adopted to the benefit of the entire industry.
e-VERIFILE.COM Inc. has an extensive track record of service to the transportation industry having served some of the nation’s largest transportation logistics and trucking companies. Additionally the company is a member of the American Trucking Associations and works with the Association of American Railroads (AAR) in partnership with their railroad members.
