Representatives from Cuppy’s Coffee real estate and marketing departments hosted a booth at the 9th annual Retailer One on One convention held in Orlando, FL on April 12th, 2007.
Attending the event were more than 200 retailers from across the country and approximately 2,000 brokers and representatives with available properties. During the one day event, Cuppy’s Coffee was able to gain over 150 potential sites and received multiple listings from several large development companies.
When the conference floor closed, Cuppy’s left with more than 250 possible locations to present to its franchisees that are in need of property for their stores.
“It was absolutely unbelievable and more productive than I would have ever imagined! From a real estate prospective, it was the most fun I have ever had procuring locations for our franchisees! In a word it was amazing,” said real estate specialist, Trinetti McDonald.
Cuppy’s Coffee continues to grow and is continually in need of excellent locations for its franchisees across the country. Between March 1st and April 15th, 15 new leases were signed by Cuppy's franchsiees. This month, Cuppy's projects seven new store openings and is continuing to average between five and 10 new open stores each month.
Offering a range of units, Cuppy’s Coffee & More is in search of sites that will accommodate the company’s dual drive-thru, in-line coffee café, end cap coffee café, and coffee kiosk.
Cuppy’s is also seeking out parcel space for the stand alone café, the newest addition to the company’s offerings. The company is seeking prime sites in lifestyle centers, mixed use developments, outlet centers, power centers, and some locations in colleges, universities, shopping malls, hospitals and large office complexes.
