CoralPoker.com has joined forces with The Poker Channel to sponsor The CoralPoker.com Speed Classic, which forms part of the World Speed Poker Open, a televised tournament with a prize pool of over £144,000.
Mark O’Donnell, a spokesman for CoralPoker.com, explained, “Speed Poker is a much faster version of the standard Texas holdem and players get just fifteen seconds to decide their next move. This results in faster poker game with more hands per hour, all of which makes the games more tense and exciting, especially for the viewers.”
The winner of the CoralPoker.com Speed Classic will go through to the semi-finals, with the top three finishers in each semi-final then going straight to the final, to play off for a first prize of £50,000.
