Although voice actors generally are not in the glare of the limelight or have paparazzi at their heels, voice actors from Hollywood and around the globe were treated to a very different form of media attention: up close and personal interactive media coverage that highlighted the various lectures, events, and movers and shakers of the voice acting world – courtesy of the leading voice marketplace, Voices.com and their popular blog, VOX Daily.
Attending as sponsors for the VoiceOver Creative Experience (VOICE), Voices.com also represented the media, providing concise, extensive and intimate details pertaining to the VOICE conference, honored presenters and exuberant participants, serving the voice over acting industry as an educational venue as well as a means for people to converse by leaving comments on articles from VOICE 2007.
Many voice actors who did not attend the VOICE conference in Las Vegas were treated to an incredible review of each lecture that was presented, including those taught by Rodney Saulsberry, Connie Terwilliger, Frank Frederick, Chris Wagner, Pat Fraley, James Alburger and Penny Abshire, Gregory Best, Bettye Zoller, MJ Lallo, and DB Cooper. Voice actors in attendance at the conference were also appreciative of the coverage provided by the VOX Daily Voice Actors Blog, discovering key points that they may have missed, and for countless talent, being able to fully indulge in and digest the experience that was VOICE 2007 from the comfort of their own homes.
Special events featuring Don LaFontaine (Movie Trailer Voice Actor) and Bob Bergen (Porky Pig) were also given editorial pampering, weaving biographical information with live commentary and photos from each event.
