At the 63rd Annual Jesse H. Neal Awards on Friday, March 31st at Pier 60 in New York City, ALM took home two awards with Best Single Article with Corporate Counsel’s Sue Reisinger on ‘Is Justice for Sale in Illinois?’ and Best Overall Art Direction/Design for BenefitsPRO issue.

The Neal Awards recognizes and salutes the excellence of journalists who are shaping the future of business information and this year’s finalists and winners illustrate the power of insightful reporting, a thoughtful analysis and outstanding design.
The Best Single Article won by Sue Reisinger, demonstrates how an in-house counsel at State Farm insurance company played a key role in an alleged conspiracy to influence a state supreme court ruling in a billion-dollar State Farm case.
Additionally, BenefitsPRO won Best Overall Art Direction/Design category for the publication’s June 2016 issue. The issue was the launch of the magazine’s ebranding from Benefits Selling magazine to BenefitsPRO magazine. The issue delved into America’s high health care costs and their underlying drivers, including obesity, increased regulatory complexity, and lack of transparency.
