Featured precision measurement products include the AccuScan 6000 Series 4-axis diameter and ovality gauge. The AccuScan 6000 Series provides the most comprehensive measurement coverage around the product’s circumference to instantly detect changes in product diameter. The AccuScan 6012 measures products up to 12 mm, while the AccuScan 6050 measures products up to 50 mm. Both gauges deliver the fastest scan rate at 9600 scans/sec, highest ovality accuracy up to 100% and highest flaw-detection accuracy with 25% improvement over 3-axis gauges. Flexible communications allow for easy integration into production environments.
Integral to the measurement system solution, booth visitors will see the latest release of the Beta LaserMike InControl™ process visualization and control system. InControl brings an advanced level of graphical user interface, functionality and ease of use to operators for increased productivity. It offers closed-loop control, scanning flaw detection, total wall thickness calculation, product defect marking, statistical process control, data collection and reporting, flexible interface, and a number of other valuable features. An Optional OPC UA server module offers flexible, central control.
Also on display is the innovative LayScan measurement system that accurately and consistently measures the lay length of twisted pairs in data communication cables, such as Cat 5e/6/6a/7a/8 products. LayScan solves scrap, costly rework and productivity loss problems due to manual, time-consuming lay length measurement methods and crosstalk performance issues from lay variations.
The company will also exhibit the latest version of its DCM ES-2G LAN/Data cable testing system. This compact, bench-top system effectively tests Cat 5e/6/6a/7/7a/8 cables up to 2.2 GHz. An automated 4-pair switching platform enables operators to perform cable testing in less than 3 minutes. Easy-to-use testing software offers complete test management and reporting capabilities.
The new BenchMike, with added features and functions, is the industry’s leading off-line sample inspection system with over 15,000 gauges installed worldwide.
