Avigilon Corporation (“Avigilon”), provider of trusted security solutions, today announced the expansion of its H4 platform with the Avigilon H4 SL camera line (the “H4 SL”). The H4 SL provides exceptional image quality with an innovative modular design that is easy to install, reducing installation times by up to 50%. Available for order now in bullet and dome formats, the cost effective and versatile H4 SL comes with multiple mounting options. The newest member of the H4 platform is also video analytics-ready and, in conjunction with future software upgrades, will provide immediate access to the strongest video analytics patent portfolio and unparalleled technology.
“We’ve engineered the H4 SL camera line with our customers in mind. The unique modular design provides them with a camera that can snap into the base of their choice, depending on the requirements,” said Dr. Mahesh Saptharishi, Avigilon’s Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President. “The camera is quick to install and versatile, even when you may not know the mounting requirements. In addition to the H4 SL camera line, we have many exciting products on the way as part of the H4 platform and the continued expansion of our addressable market.”
The H4 SL harnesses patented Avigilon High Definition Stream Management (HDSM)TM technology to efficiently manage video data. It also leverages Avigilon idle scene mode technology to lower bandwidth and storage usage when there is no motion detected in the scene. The H4 SL integrates with Avigilon Control Center (ACC)TM video management software (VMS) and is ONVIF compliant for integration with a third-party VMS. Equipped with Avigilon LightCatcherTM technology, the H4 SL captures high resolution color images in low-light, and boasts content adaptive infrared technology for consistent illumination in complete darkness across the camera’s field of view. The H4 SL is ideal for monitoring a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
Come see the product demonstration at ASIS 2016, booth 2135, in Orlando, Florida from September 12-15 or at Security Essen 2016, stand 2A16, in Essen, Germany from September 27- 30.
