Bellevue, WA, United States, 2016/06/03 - PCL Construction in Seattle is pleased to congratulate Kelly Alger on a top chapter award the 2016 Build Washington Award for Superintendent of the Year, presented by the Associated General Contractors of Washington (AGC) - AGCWA.com / PCL.com.
PCL also received the Safety Excellence Award for General Contractors in the 150,000 300,000 manhour category. This is the fifth straight year, and the sixth year out of seven, that PCL has won this award. Additionally, PCL was a finalist for the Grand Award for Construction Excellence from AGC.

Alger is a 16-year PCL veteran and was one of the first supervisors to achieve the Safety Trained Supervisor designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. He was also the first superintendent in PCL across the US to achieve the Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) designation. Alger is currently working on the Tower 12 Apartment high-rise in downtown Seattle.
The annual AGC Build Washington Awards reception, held at Century Link Field on May 26, recognize company performances in construction and safety excellence, technology, and community service.
