JDA Software Group, Inc. today announced that French retailer Gedimat has selected several JDA® Space Planning solutions - including JDA Space Planning Plus™, JDA Space Automation™, JDA Planogram Converter™, JDA Floor Planning Plus™ - to address store planning needs across its nearly 500 stores. Gedimat will work with JDA alliance member Cube Solutions to implement this solution.
Gedimat (gedimat.fr) is a part of Groupement GEDEX, a group of independent retailers in construction, renovation, furnishing and decorating materials and equipment specializing in ‘do-it-yourself’ (DIY) building materials. Gedimat required a solution to help them optimize store assortments while providing a better customer experience that would ultimately increase brand loyalty and help them grow sales and increase profitability.

JDA Space Planning will enable Gedimat to create intelligent store-specific planograms in three-dimensional merchandising displays for a realistic planogram that helps match merchandise strategy with the way consumers shop by brand, type, product complement or other key attributes. Gedimat will also leverage the reporting and analysis capabilities within JDA Space Planning and its integration with JDA Floor Planning for macro-level floor space planning,
