PowerMedia XMS 3.1 is an upgrade of the company’s media server/media resource function (MRF) that makes migration to a PowerMedia XMS platform easier for users of both competitor and legacy Dialogic platforms. Notable enhancements in Release 3.1 include features for JSR309 API control, enhanced conference applications, transaction recording for compliance and training in contact centers, and additions to enable initiating outbound calling.

As part of the product launch, PowerMedia XMS 3.1 will play an important role during the TADHack-mini London being held April 9-10 at the IDEA London and broadcasted online. Operating in concert with the cloud-based Telestax Restcomm platform, PowerMedia XMS 3.1 will facilitate advanced media processing resources for developers competing for their share of a $5,000 prize pool.

• VxML Outbound Calling facilitating outbound notification applications;
• RTP/RTCP Port Multiplexing improving NAT traversal and security by reducing application port usage;
• Along with a number of other enhancements as outlined in the PowerMedia XMS 3.1 Documentation package.
