JDA Software Group, Inc. today announced expansion of its mobility strategy with a new JDA Certified Mobile Alliance Program, enabling alliances to certify mobile applications based on JDA’s industry-leading omni-channel retail and supply chain solutions. JDA has also announced two new mobile applications that expand upon JDA’s existing mobile solutions for the worker on the go. These mobility enhancements unlock choice and flexibility for customers, whether they wish to build their own mobile solution in-house, leverage an alliance partner to build a customized solution, or leverage JDA’s mobile applications directly.

JDA Certified Mobile Alliance Program Untethers the Mobile Workforce
With a focus on the end user in mind, JDA’s holistic mobile strategy supports on-the-go tasks through multiple mobile options spanning responsive web design to installable mobile applications that serve a very specific task, use case or user role. The new JDA Certified Mobile Alliance Program -- part of JDA’s partner ecosystem strategy builds upon this strategy, enabling approved third-party alliance partners to develop mobile applications which enhance the customer user experience as they interact with core JDA solutions. This program validates that mobile applications produced by JDA alliances will work seamlessly with JDA solutions, not only extending return on their investment, but ensuring that these mobile applications meet customers’ specific requirements and can be brought to market quickly. Through JDA’s audit and certification process, alliances’ mobile applications will gain JDA’s certification for operability, providing joint customers with consistent user experiences that they can count on to operate today as well as into the future.
REPL Group is one of the first alliance partners to join the JDA Certified Mobile Alliance Program, and has already been involved in a number of successful implementations where a JDA solution and an REPL application have been deployed to deliver a unique and personalized solution for the end customer.

New Mobile Applications Enhance Efficiency and Enable Collaboration On The Fly
With this announcement, JDA introduces two new mobile applications to its current mobile portfolio JDA InStock and JDA Buyer for JDA Demand & Fulfillment, JDA Flowcasting and JDA Assortment customers, untethering planners from their desks and improving their efficiency.
JDA Buyer for JDA Assortment users - enables buyers to capture product images online or offline and quickly take notes, create placeholders at the style or style color level, and sync all data back to the assortment planning process, all from their iOS phone or tablet.
JDA InStock for JDA Demand & Fulfillment and JDA Flowcasting users brings data visibility to replenishment planners, managers and directors, preventing costly out-of-stocks by identifying out-of-stock issues early enough to take action and prevent them.
Understanding the importance of enabling customization and extensions to mobile experiences, these new mobile applications join JDA’s Mobile Extensions system that allows customers to brand and customize their own JDA mobile application, providing added control and visibility into customers’ JDA mobile application configuration.
