The last Saturday of every month is a special day for fitness enthusiasts — it’s "Mini Boot Camp™," the day that health conscious women from the Cobb County area and even surrounding Atlanta areas come together to “overload” their fitness regime with a vigorous, rewarding workout session where they learn new exercise techniques, experience great camaraderie and give each other support in their commitment to the healthy lifestyle.
"It’s something we all really look forward to," Says Katy Gillis (katygillis.com), Certified Personal Trainer, who coordinates and leads the events. "We have such a rewarding time, women swap tips and hints on staying healthy, and get a chance to meet once a month to keep each other accountable and focused on their goals." Gillis is a local personal trainer who designs personalized fitness plans including nutritional guidelines, weight loss, exercise technique, and overall health and wellness to her clientele of women in the area.
"All skill levels are welcome," says Gillis, "We have some ladies who have been working out regularly for years, and others who are just starting out. Everyone has a unique goal, and everyone is welcome and is guaranteed to get a great workout." The group is open to all women in the Atlanta and surrounding area, and classes are $15.
