* This organization was established in Japan to respond to denial-of-service (DoS) attacks and other types of incidents that threaten website security. Upon receiving a report of such an incident, JPCERT/CC experts analyze the attack, determine its level of seriousness, suggest countermeasures, and develop and propose measures that will make the site less vulnerable. In 2014, the JPCERT/CC started to award letters of commendation to individuals and organizations that have made strong contributions in this field. In 2015, Yokogawa was one of two companies to win this commendation.
