This new integration gives animation studios the ability to render final animations from Harmony using Qube!’s render management interface.
Artists can fire off Harmony rendering jobs to Qube! and will have access to very useful tracking data, including: estimated completion time, rendered previews, etc. Prioritization tools allow systems administrators to reassign rendering jobs to additional rendering nodes as needed. Qube! also provides a mobile application for monitoring rendering jobs while outside of the office.
“The increased control and throughput from Qube! will give our customers more control in rendering out both dailies and final production renderings,” said Francisco Del Cueto, CTO of Toon Boom Animation. “This bridge is another step that will help our customers in cutting down their rendering costs, and artists getting more time to perfect their work.”
“We are pleased to add Harmony, the leading 2D animation software, to our list of supported applications,” said Richard Lewis, CEO of PipelineFX. “Their customers will now have more options when it comes to rendering complex scenes built in Harmony.”
