Genesis Systems, a leading communications management software developer, today announced that its GenAlert software is compliant with IP Office from Avaya, a global provider of solutions that enable customer and team engagement across multiple channels and devices for better customer experience, increased productivity and enhanced financial performance.
The GenAlert solution helps businesses notify their staff in real-time of 9-1-1 calls and other emergencies via on-screen messages, voice alerts, emails, SMS text messages, and more. The application is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with IP Office 9.1.
Genesis Systems is a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect program an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.
As a Technology Partner, Genesis Systems is eligible to submit products for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compatible. Doing so enables businesses to confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.
"This DevConnect compliance testing provides customers with the secure knowledge that our GenAlert 9-1-1 notification solution’s functionality has been tested with Avaya IP Office and interoperability has been confirmed, which is especially critical for 9-1-1 solutions.”
"In addition to confirming system interoperability, DevConnect compliance testing allows us to simplify and reduce deployment time for customers, improve software features and functionality, and ultimately help customers realize cost-saving benefits."
- Brandon Mennear, Vice President, Genesis Systems
“Technology partners like Genesis Systems are helping Avaya customers get the most out of their investment through innovative and complimentary solutions.
