Scotsman Guide, the leading resource for mortgage originators, has recently launched a new online service for mortgage brokers and lenders: the Scotsman Guide Loan Post.
The Scotsman Guide Loan Post is available for free to mortgage originators nationwide and allows them to post their residential and commercial loan scenarios. Wholesale mortgage lenders who are signed up to receive post notifications can then reply directly to the brokers with program information, rate quotes and specific comments. Brokers also can search and view prior residential and commercial loan posts to find scenarios similar to their own.
Since its launch, more than 5,000 mortgage brokers have signed up for the service, and more than 175 mortgage lenders -- Scotsman Guide print advertisers -- have actively participated in the Scotsman Guide Loan Post by posting replies or rates. To date, there have been more than 4,300 residential loan postings and more than 1,400 commercial loan postings.
