Carrying on its commitment to safety above all, XSPlatforms -- one of the leading providers of occupational safety solutions to working at heights -- launched its new XTrusion base on 1 June 2015. The new XTrusion will be one of the new product additions that make XSPlatforms’ fall protection systems for roofs better equipped for safety, efficiency and ease of use.
Compared to the current version, it is easier and faster to install on standing seam roofs with different profiles, hence more flexible for various applications.
Benefits of the new XTrusion:
1. Easier installation
New clamps can be conveniently tightened from above, with pre-drilled holes that enable quicker fitting.
2. More confidence through stronger connection
The special design of the clamps have greater tensile strength that can absorb much higher force. Anchor strength increases because the XTrusion base is installed closer to the roofing surface.
The new XTrusion comes in three different sizes 450 mm, 550 mm and 600 mm so it is suitable for roofs with rib distances from 300 mm to 510 mm.
